The last line of the poem is similar to the last line of the poem 'Dad' by Edgar A. Guest. I love that poem, and I love that line. That's not actually stealing, is it?
Some say he's the bravest man,
The thread that binds his people, his clan
Who stands tall in times of strife,
The one who will serve them all his life
He is called a great healer by few,
Who can erase the pain by just smiling at you,
His one gentle touch can heal the soul,
And many a people look up to his role.
He's called a kind husband and an able son,
The kindest friend he's called by some,
The head of his family, his kith and kin
The one who's there through thick and thin,
But no one knows what he is to us,
And he is the reason how we are thus,
He's our friend, our guide, our strength,
He's our father, the best of men.
